ISFORMULA
New Excel function in Excel 2013
The ISFORMULA function checks if a cell contains a formula. If the cell contains a formula it returns TRUE, otherwise FALSE.
Syntax
ISFORMULA(reference)
The reference is the cell address that you want to test. A named range can also be used if it refers to a range.

Best to use
- Don’t use it directly on a worksheet, instead use it with conditional formatting to highlight cells that have values instead of formulas. See the examples below.
Limitations
If a range is used as a reference, only the first cell in the range is tested.
Some users are in the habit of entering numbers into a cell starting with an equals sign (e.g. =7). This is treated as a formula by the function.
