Quickly select differences in a list

Excel 2010, Excel 2013

This works well for shorter lists where the data in the columns is sorted into order.

Highlight the list you want to check.

Press F5 and click on the Special button.

Choose Row differences

Any cells with differences will be selected.

On the Home menu tab click on the Fill icon to highlight the cells with differences.
